Welcome from central N.C. An array of the Amphora brand would give you samples of English, Burley, Virginia, Dark Fired, and Aromatic ... maybe one or two others, that would serve as a good intro to various genres, in pleasant blends at a good price. My wife spent her adult career in NYC and Long Island, on New York Newsday when it was their Manhattan edition, among many assignments.
I am currently impatiently awaiting UPS showing up with my Amphora sampler, thank you for the advice as well as everyone else who suggested this sampler!

Welcome to the forum !
Greetings, I need a bit of advice. I have been smoking a blend called Summer Smoke from a shop in Amarillo Texas for 20 years, as I no longer live in a Texas I have been ordering by phone. The shops was named Jones Cohan pipe and tobacco. I don’t know what happened to the shop but apparently it’s no longer open. I know that the owner Danny Jones didn’t blend but was supplied by a wholesaler. If anyone can help me out with a contact for another retailer who carries this blend it would really be appreciated. Thanks Dan

Welcome Big Dan, your question would probably make a good topic in the tobacco section. I don’t think many people will see it here.

Thank you, I’m still trying to navigate this site.
No worries, it is a lot to navigate. Basically there are a broad list of different topics, once you click that topic there are a bunch of “threads” (basically individual questions or topics that fit within that broader title) if you need to ask a question try to find the broad topic it fits under, and then start a “thread” with your question. People will reply beneath your question.

Thats super basic, so if you already knew that please don’t take offense. Just trying to be helpful.
