Thanks for the suggestions. I'll add those to my list.Welcome from Northern NV by way of Asheville, NC.
That St nick will be a solid starter pipe. I would recommend starting with some Carter Hall or Sir Walter Raleigh. Very forgiving tobaccos that will deliver good flavor and a nice room note, while allowing you room to learn proper packing and cadence without melting your tongue off.
That's exactly my plan. I was a heavy smoker for many years... 2 or more packs a day. I smoked both cigars and pipes just like cigarettes. If I can't smoke without inhaling then I'll have some used pipes for sale!Hello! Don't pull the pipe smoke into your lungs. Take a slow draw-hold in your mouth-blow it out.
Thanks , I'm in Sanford. About 3 hours from Asheville. Do they have a website?Welcome from the North GA mountains. I spend alot of time in NC, especially the western part of the state. I work alot in Highlands/Cashiers area.
If you've not been, check out B&B Tobacconist in Ashevile - great little shop.
They don't ship, at least to my knowledge. Just a shop I stop at whenever I'm in the area. They carry some good tinned blends, many that have sat on the shelves for a few years. But they also carry new releases. Thanks , I'm in Sanford. About 3 hours from Asheville. Do they have a website?
I Should get my pipe and tobacco order from SmokingPipes.com either tomorrow or Friday. I'm looking forward to it.
