Hey gang. Noobie from Nashville, Tennessee here. I’ve been a cigar smoker for many years and have just recently took the plunge into the world of pipes. Being from Nashville I decided my first pipe should be local and bought a Prince from Briar Works. I also picked up a Savinelli 628 Foresta and a Missouri Meerschaum so I can dabble a little with aromatics. I’ve already learned a lot from this site and am thankful for you guys.

I bought my Savinelli last week and just noticed there is a small chip in the briar when you remove the stem. I’ve attached a photo here. Is this something I should be concerned about?
