I love my pipes but my family only allows me to smoke out doors. I have been smoking on my balcony but our cold Montreal winter diminishes the enjoyment. Yesterday it was so cold that I hat to put my steaks in the freezer to defrost.

Thanks for the warm (Florida) welcome.If you're ever in Montreal again you should visit "Blatter & Blatter" and "Vasco Cigars". They are in my opinion, the two best shops for pipe smokers in Montreal.

Montreal is a wonderful city, but it is cold. Your summer is like our winter. We rarely get snow in the valley, maybe once every few years.
Our summers can get very hot. Last summer it was so hot that I saw two trees fighting over a dog.
Depends on the heater. More $$ = more heat. Main thing is to block the wind. Check out your local Sail, Walmart & Canadian Tire.
Haha. When I visited Montreal a cab driver told me it was getting warmer and warmer every year and he could see the trees dying off. Some places should stay cold and are better off for it. But yeah, not ideal for outside pipe smoking.. or maybe not. Start a trend!
