That’s tremendous! That’s a pipe shop worth visiting for that bit of history alone!Dan's father, Paul Spaniola, was the original owner for decades as well as a five-time winner of the slow smoking championship. He taught a number of actors to smoke for roles in movies.

Thank you Bing Bong - My daughter lives in Central Finchley, attending uni there. We are heading there this spring and I asked her to keep a look out for good pipe shops.Hello from London UK.
Dan's son also works there. Really a cool place. Like walking into 1950. The chain driven pipe "rotisserie" looks like it's original. There are thousands upon thousands of pipes there.Dan's father, Paul Spaniola, was the original owner for decades as well as a five-time winner of the slow smoking championship. Oh, cool! I have bought a few things online but haven't stopped by in quite a number of years. Is the museum still upstairs? I know they had some issues with the surrounding buildings' structural integrity so they were thinking of packing it up, at least for now.Dan's son also works there. Really a cool place. He didn't say anything about the museum but did say that basement if loaded with pipes. The son said over "600-700,000" pipes. I saw online that they were thinking of closing the shop a couple years back. The son said the "pipe cottage's" channel has increased their business big time, which is great to hear.Oh, cool! Hartland, near 23 and 59. You?Welcome from the capital area! Where are you at?
I'm very sorry to say that these once numerous shops are reduced to very very few. A couple of branches of James Fox and a place down near Fenchurch Street are all that come to mind. It's an absolute travesty when I look back 50 years.Thank you Bing Bong - My daughter lives in Central Finchley, attending uni there. Agreed. My daughter said something about Mayfair? I might have that wrong. I'll check it out when visiting.I'm very sorry to say that these once numerous shops are reduced to very very few.
