Never was able to get into the Night Cap. As the name and description on the can states, "A rich flavoured blend smoking mixture for the evening with its period of relaxation and leisure"
After smoking a bowl in the evening, I could never get to sleep.

I've wondered about some of those names, too. Despite smoking tobacco on and off for years, I haven't seemed to get addicted to nicotine (yet), so it's not something that would calm me before bed. I only really notice it when I've had too much.

On the other hand, the first time I read your post, I looked over at the clock and noticed it was about 1:30 AM. Oops!

I married a wonderful woman who thought my pipe smoking was "gentlemanly", so I have enthusiastic support for the hobby -- as long as I do my smoking outside! Lately, I've been smoking more frequently, learning what's new in online discussions about pipe-smoking, and accumulating more tobacco. Life is good.

Ditto to all the above! Having a receptive partner sure makes all the difference.
