Hey from central North Carolina U.S. and welcome aboard. I was in my sixties before I ever got to Paris, or France at all, but it was a fine trip with the woman who became my second wife after my being a widower. She knew the city somewhat and we had a spectacular time. Made a second trip to visit friends of hers in the provinces who had a stone house near the ruins of a medieval castle hidden behind some brush, but still mostly intact. Pretty wonderful. Our first meal in Paris was at Bowfinger, a full seafood table. Wow. Many more stories, but it was great.
