I have the occasional cigar, but pipes are more to my taste. The economics are obvious -- the price of a premium pipe tobacco tin that gives you about twenty smokes is the same as about one premium cigar. But also, with a pipe you can mix and vary blends, adding condimental tobacco in a range of proportions.
