Hello from Florida's Space Coast!

Howdy, old dude from beach side in Florida.

I tried to get into pipes about 10 yrs ago but was busy going down the cuban cigar slope at the time and pipes just didn't take. Now with habanos jacking up the prices i've broken out all of my old tobaccos and pipes and added to the collection, this time as I'm older and wiser I've learned to take my time and slow down and really enjoy the piping for what it is.

I have a pretty good range from MMs to a nice COMOY, a couple Savis and just picked up two Dunhill birth year pipes (1967) from money i'm saving on cigars :P

This time around I'm really enjoying Virginias and yes some aromatics, i have some old Christmas Cheer that I'm still trying to decide if I liked .. just need to get over that initial ketchup smell lol, I still smoke cigars but really slowing way down on those but those fill my need for straight tobacco flavors right now, anyway that's me in a nutshell and happy I found y'all and hoping to learn a lot without asking a lot of questions that have been asked 2000 times already.

Yes I did some time in San Diego and loved Liberty Tobacco there, not much here for cigars there are a couple great places and there is smokerings over by Cocoa Beach but they really don't carry a lot of tinned tobacco, still a nice place that that i'll probably start frequenting more just to get out of the house.

The Pipe Den in Vero is an excellent place for pipes but the limited tobacco in stock is very expensive. Executive cigar is the "Walmart" of cigar stores around here. Sadly no pipes clubs in this area. There is one in Tampa area if your up for the 2.5 hour drive but they are some great guys.

Executive was my second home for 2 years as i couldn’t smoke where i lived, love the owner Tony and (well the old staff it’s been about a year since I’ve been in, i would go there to work every day for 4 or 5 hours … i was quite the fixture.

2.5 hrs is a bit, but then 3 times a year i fly around the country to herf with cigar brothers on a private board, just got back from a 4 day herf in Texas ?
