Hello everyone
I’m from Edinburgh but originally South Africa, picked up the pipe hobby during lockdown and loving every aspect of it. I have pipes of all different types and shapes and sizes but I must admit I do have a soft spot for corn cobs and the modification of them. I also hand carve my own pipes on occasion from the Molina DIY kits and love restoring estate pipes given the chance.
Currently my favourite brand of pipe is vauen and MM corn cobs (laughter expected at this hahaha ? ) and my favourite tobacco is a African blend called Jock made by van erkoms, unfortunately not available this side of the pond, so have switched to black Irish twist , black cavendish ,early morning and other English blends.
Are there any pipe clubs in or around the central belt of Scotland ?
Looking forward to meeting everyone and getting involved more with this wonderful hobby.
Cheers
Bob
