I will be going round Peterborough's ring road in a few weeks on my way to North Norfolk, love your Avatar, I used to do Cycle Touring as well as racing, I remember Peterborough when it used to be a small quiet city, it's well over double the size now and such a busy place, Ernie Wise took up residence there and My Father took me to see the Posh play in the 60's, also visited the Cathedral a few times, also used to catch the train there to go up to the North East, enjoy your pipe.
Welcome from the Pacific Northwest of USA. Having been to the UK a couple times I'd say we both share somewhat similar weather, which I like to consider perfect pipe-smoking weather. Welcome from W NY USA. Yes we enjoy a wide variety of reasonably priced tobacco and pipes. As for driving around NYC and Boston we have super highways, bumper to bumper 70 mph plus traffic, 50 car accidents. You will need a bowl to relax.
