Hello everyone,

Nice to meet you!
I'm a pipe smoker in Chiba.

I wrote it in Google Translate, so the words may not be appropriate.

I mainly smoke Burley.
Favorites include Lane Ready Rubbed, Erik Stokkebye1931 Flake, and MB Navy Flak.
I especially like French pipes, with over 10 Chacom and some Genod pipes.
I also like American pipes and own Kirsten, Morgan Pipes, Briarworks and Corncobs.
On the other hand, I rarely own pipes in Italy or England.
I would like to absorb various opinions and knowledge through the forum.

Welcome to the forum!
Good to hear from The Land of the Rising Sun.

I'd be interested to hear if people react differently to pipe smoke instead of cigarette smoke in a restaurant.
I would love to visit someday just to try smoking a pipe after eating a nice meal, but I do wonder if people would react negatively to the different smell of pipe tobacco.

Hey (that's a local greeting) from central North Carolina U.S. I am a fan of French pipes too, and I'm smoking a fine little Chacom sandblast yacht with a bone band right now, Peter Stokkebye Luxury Birdseye Flake. I've been to P.I., Taiwan, and Hong Kong, but my wife visited the major fish market in Japan, Tsukiji, on assignment for a New York newspaper. "It's a wonderful place," she says. The market has moved now, as we know.
