Joined the forum in early November but forgot to introduce myself. I was going to ask for suggestions on where to start when I joined but I decided to just get myself an Ozark hardwood by Missouri Meerschaum and some of their Great Dane blend. Haven't had the chance to smoke too many bowls yet (only 2) but I like it a lot- it feels far more dignified than cigarettes and I think the whole taste thing Cigar smokers always go on about is much more evident with pipe tobacco. As it turned out a good friend of mine decided to get into pipes after hearing me talk about it so I enjoyed my second-ever pipe smoking experience with him and a few other friends before a Thanksgiving get together. Still getting the hang of packing, keeping the tobacco lit and whatnot but I'm sure it'll get easier with time. Cheers.
