Thank you for the advice. As much as I would love to smoke them I dont know that I ever will. Especially not now considering as I have never smoked a pipe before in my life. If this is a hobby I choose to persue I may revisit that statement in the future if I can conclude 100% that it wont damage them. For now I just want to learn about and enjoy what I was given.
I am going to assume you came here in part to be encouraged. I say set the goal and climb. Get the hobby and train yourself into proper smoking condition so you can take on those great pipes you now have. But you do what ever you want, just know if you hang out I will pester you about how the training is going.

Haha, fair enough. I would love to learn and get into this hobby. I'll start down that rabbit hole shortly. You all seem like a good group of people here, I wouldn't mind sticking around for a bit.
