Just made my first post in the maintenance/repairs section and thought I'd stop by here to say hi

I think I will really enjoy this hobby and look forward to learning from this community. There seems to be a lot of great information and individuals here.

I just picked up my first pipe from the post office; an estate Dr Grabow Grand Duke I got for super cheap. I'm trying (somewhat unsuccessfully) to clean it out and get it ready to smoke.

I also ordered a bunch of 1oz tobacco that I'm hoping to enjoy too that should be here Monday:

For my palate, there something special about the way burley blends pair with coffee. And that's part of the fun; finding the blends you enjoy, and how they work in different pipes, with different packing methods, and paired with different drinks.
