Haven’t smoked much in the way of H&H blends. Cracked to tins, both coin open twist tops vacuum sealed. Cerberus was basically bone dry. El Niño was extremely moist. Any thoughts and experiences?
My tins of Blackhouse, Viprati, and Magnum Opus seem to be a perfect smoking moisture when I open them. I’ve never bought any of their blends in the pop-top tins, but the screw-off tins have retained ideal moisture in my experience.
Good to know. I have unopened tins of Cerberus, Blackhouse, Viprati, and Magnum Opus. Hopefully all are okay as I probably won't get to them for a bit...Haven’t smoked much in the way of H&H blends. Do you know if there is a bulk for El Niño? Good stuff!I’ve honestly never tried the actual Hearth & Home branded tobaccos that I can remember, but have smoked many of the same blends that are also offered as bulk from Sutliff. From memory, I believe they were all quite damp. It was water moisture though, not PG dampness, as they all dried quite quickly. BSOMM (White Knight), BS759 Match (Black House), and Chatham Manor I have on hand, and checked to verify. All damp in the jar.
I’m not sure about that one.Do you know if there is a bulk for El Niño? Good stuff!
