I just remembered that I received a sample of this at the Chicago show. I just tried a bowl in a Bruce Weaver Belge and I think it's quite nice. I'm not usually fond of perique, but here it's not obnoxious. Everything seems very well balanced but still with some depth. I think msandoval summed it up nicely by saying "dynamic but not overbearing".
I also don't think there's anything particularly "ghostly" about it; at least no more than any other latakia blend.
"The cob realy blends the flavors nicely." Really, toker?! A cob "blends the flavors"? How does that work exactly? Sorry, but I gotta call "shenanigans" on a claim like that.

I smoked a bowl of this yesterday and it was a pretty good smoke.Very interesting and spicy flavor.

I've been smoking H & H Larry's Blend. Has anyone compared it to Butera's Royal Vintage No 2?

I bought a tin of Cerberus on my last TAD purchase. Unfortunately, I bought ten other kinds of H&H 8 oz tins too, so haven't gotten to it yet. Something to look forward to, I guess.

caliban - Larry's is one of my all time favs. I've gone through several tins of Butera's Royal Vinatge No.2, but found it less interesting and potent. I prefer RV No.1 over No.2 in this department, but Larry's still rules.
I'm still working my way through RussO's other newer blends: Magnum Opus, Black House and Cerebus. Mainly I'm trying to decide which of these will be added to the Top100 cellar.
