Well, after a frustrating season of being unable to fly due to wildfire smoke and weather, the fall rain has finally arrived and I am headed out to the moose camp for 10 days or so starting tomorrow, so I'll be offline for some time. Looking forward to soaking up the below view from our makeshift wall tent deck. Headed out there with me will be:

McClelland Christmas Cheer 2014
McClelland Black Woods Flake or Butera Dark Stoved (haven't decided)
Esoterica Dunbar
Dunhill Navy Rolls
Dan Salty Dogs
Esoterica Penzance
Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding Special Reserve
Samuel Gawith Dark Flake Unscented
CD Briar Fox
GH happy Bogie (for smoking at camp, and chewing in the field)
Sutliff Burma Road
Nording Hunter's Blend Labrador
And of course some General Snus Original for the field and copious amounts of craft beer and whiskey.

Bringing along a Savinelli spigot sterling 315KS Natural, Castello Collection 26, a Tekin Latticed Tomato Meer, and an MM Morgan Natural with forever stem.

I'll miss the conversations, but I sure won't miss the plugged in world :) Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Thanks for sharing your photos. Alaska must be a beautiful country!

I wish you a good hunting and some peaceful smokes out in the wild! Or as German hunters say: Waidmanns Heil!

Kill a big one! This here, this is the fake world. Enjoy your time in the real one!

I really don't know why I ever left Alaska. Ugh. Maybe I'll return.

Man, I’m so jealous! Years I ago I got my first and only bull on a guided hunt in Maine using a recurve bow. The experience hunting moose is intense! I’d love to do it again but my legs are shot these days. Have fun and stay safe.

With all that tobacco and hooch you're carrying you're going to need a sherpa to carry it all. I volunteer ?

In all seriousness best of luck. I loaded a bunch of precision .325 WSM rounds for a coworkers hunt in BC. He said it was a hell of a time. Unfortunately a grizzly beat him to his kill. Stay safe out there. Happy hunting!

Happy hunting! That's a fair list of baccy you got there, I took the opposite approach with my hunting trip this year and took one pouch of sir Walter Raleigh, a great smoke before and after deer heart, kidneys and liver!
