I bought new a Parker Lovat in August last year from the The Pipe Shop Edinburgh and it smokes beautifully ?
Allegedly made in the same factory as Dunhill.

I understand in the beginning they were Dunhill "seconds". They went on to be produced by several different manufacturers and are now made in Italy.
The "London Briar" line are still White Spot "Seconds"

Just to clarify, according to Mike Rescke, a renowned Parker collector, Parkers were never Dunhill seconds. They were always their own line.
'Several' different manufacturers & now made in Italy? Where does all this bullshit come from? Lol.

It smokes as good as any pipe I own.

Well, they say 'what can't speak, can't lie' but I don't believe it.
That can't be right, surely? Obviously the stummels come from Italy & Spain etc. I've always thought the turning, finishing & stemming took place here, in England. If the Italians were making them they'd have better stem work for starters.
