I received an email from Smokers Haven this morning, which among other things indicates that they are awaiting word from Germain's regarding when their next order of blends will ship. Apparently there will be another run of their blends and arrival could be anywhere from imminent to sometime after the sun goes supernova and evaporates the planet.

This is great to hear. I have been buying tins from Premal for years and thought for sure I was on his mailing list but did not receive this notice you mention. Is he taking pre-orders yet?

First time I sent an email to inquire about a pipe, I had to chase after them for several months, because they failed to reply as promised to get back with me in a few days.

Also on the website, the ‘New This Week’ is not correct there are pipes there that have been sitting for months, even a year I’ve noticed, so this is not correctly advertised.

Also at the bottom of the website Recent Posts, dated 2016.

Bottom line, the website is not properly/professionally maintained.

As @cosmicfolklore pointed out, we have forum Sponsors, stick with, and support them.

I can definitely agree, have had a much better experience with the sponsored shops. Smoking pipes.com definitely has a new customer, they're fantastic. The wishlist feature is great too.

Final update, pipe arrived today, packages with care. Happy with the order, but due to the time that passed I'll be placing future order through smoking pipes.com instead. Was able to get three orders in the time it took smokers haven to fill one.

A bit of trivia.... I can remember back in the 50s, when I was a little kid, there was a fancy thermometer on the bathroom wall at my grandmother's house. It had some kind of sweet pastural scene with the words below, "Smoker's Haven".
