I'm always searching for good shag-cut English blends, and I was led to Rich's Cigar Store, which sells lots of various pipe blends. They're apparently considered pretty good. I emailed them and got a response from Bill Shindler. He was very nice, and even sent me pictures of Old Fashioned 759 and our Old Perth. I was going to order some Old Fashioned, until he told me the price: $15.65 for 2 ounces plus $12.25 for shipping. So... almost $30 for 2 oz of bulk tobacco. Yeah...
So my question is for anyone out there who has had this blend before... is it worth it?

Both those blends were exceptional when Steven Books was blending for them. I don't think that they are nearly as good now.
Steven left Rich's in 2010, I think, and passed away in, I believe 2017.
Bill has the recipes, as I understand, but just can't duplicate the results.
