Welcome aboard and you’re correct that is a odd/strange smoke/drink pairing!! Lol
Hey folks,

I’m Brady and I’m from Alabama (just down the road from a wonderful pipe B&M, The Briary). I’m a PhD student in American history and I’ve been smoking a pipe for about a decade now. I love Va/Pers and drinking whole milk while having a pipe (I know it sounds weird, just try it!). I decided to totally get off of social media a few months back (great decision) and I feel like this forum will be a good way to stay connected to the pipe community. Happy to be here!

Cool. History is just kind of very highly interesting American or otherwise (little biased). If milk and Brandy is better then it sounds a pipe and milk might be just fine. Will have to try it now.
And yeah being off most social media is probably good for the old mental health.

Greetings Brady. One of my passions is history, and one of my majors in college was history. I could not find a job with that degree, so went to Medical school instead. It paid off, allowing me to afford a Harley which is my passion. Glad to have you in the forum!

The photo below is South Hall on Bascom Hill at the University of Wisconsin which served as a barracks during the Civil War. I had a few history classes here.
