I'll be heading north tomorrow morning for a very special Thanksgiving celebration at my brother's home in San Francisco. A few months back, my sister-in-law had to have two liver transplants in rapid succession. Being determined to live to enjoy her grandchildren, she's made an amazing recovery.
I'm thankful to be able to share this holiday with her, my brother, and a large brood of siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and kids, who will be converging from all over the country to celebrate.
This holiday helps remind me that I have much to be thankful for.
Here's wishing all of you many things for which to be thankful.
Ciao for now
