This morning before my first bowl of Happy Brown Bogie I thought that with all the Covid19 stuff happening in the world and all the worry and anxiety it is producing, that I would try and cheer you up with a picture of a bunch of topless chicks in short skirts dancing.

My wife has happy memories growing up on a cattle farm of getting flat boxes of baby chicks in the spring that always made it through the post without a problem and were scratching around and ready for the barnyard right out of the box. Those are cuties in their tutus.

Never knew about about those flat boxes until one day while at the Post office in Huntington, Long Island I saw a gentleman pick one up at the counter. He was the owner of Makinajian Poultry Farm. I asked him about the noise emanating from the box and he explained they were chicks. A subsequent visit to the mini-farm was a treat and this relatively unknown gem is a must visit for those in the area unfamiliar with a working farm. A small remnant of the agricultural history of Long Island.
