If human consciousness is held mathematically as a singularity, which I'm sure is beyond the thinking of current avant garde physicists, then Quantum Leap was ahead of its time and completely plausible as an alternate multiverse theory. But then, who doesn't love pie.

I wonder what the jab market is for physicists who think up their own theories and laws? My last job, I kept trying to think up my own rules and theories, but Waffle House was having none of that. :puffy:
Depends on the ideas and their application. My bother retired from Los Alamos after 30 years, learned a new branch of science, and is doing pioneering work combining two branches of science that may completely change the nature of computing as well as our definitions of consciousness. Gets pretty well paid for his research.
Too bad he's the slow one in our family.

jvnshr, thanks for bringing up Tesla, he was The Man. He was the practical engineering genius of the 20th century! He also is the true inventor of radio, not Marconi.

Well, only loosely related... Big Bang Theory ruined Indian Jones for me.

Without Indian Jones in the story, everything would have happened anyway. He didn't stop the Nazis, they found the Ark anyways, they opened the Ark and died, and the Ark was just sort of filed away without Indiana delivering it to the museum. He was completely irrelevant to the whole story. :::sigh::: If it weren't for Einstein, I would still have been delusionally happy that Indiana Jones was a badass. :puffy:
