My wife is in charge of shopping. Somehow this time she did not get fireworks. I was also not motivated enough to get off my a•• and get some fireworks. But we did have some leftover sparklers. Lighting them with my first born

I'd like to dedicate my July 4th to Santé (fishnbanjo), and the service men and women on board here.

I'm keeping it smokey, enjoying the Ardor he once owned. Red, white and blue? Close, if you consider the almost red blossoms of the plum tree in the background.

They canceled the fireworks show in our little town of 1000 people. It had me a little bummed out, this is an important holiday.. one to get your kids excited about. It's a great time to explain to our kids why we are great... and explain how all great men made sacrifices, to make this so.

I decided It has to be celebrated properly c***** v**u* or not.. so I went to the fireworks stand and blew the next month's tobacco budget.. even though there is a no fireworks rule... possibly a law. Damnit anyway, I decided. What a great decision, every house in town had the same idea.. it was glorious! smoke filled the streets for hours.. it sounded like the british were here in Georgetown tonight. What a night! Happy Independence Day! God Bless America!
