Here's a sad handshake to the Redskins fans. You beat us fair and square. We had a chance until that final INT. Romo played the second half with cracked ribs. For one game, we had 18 of 22 starters out, and had two guys starting who were on the couch a week before. Don't get me wrong, we'll always hate each other, but I offer a postgame handshake; you beat us fair and square :(

Agreed, Romo was an F. Three INTs, including the game loser and a 55.6 passer rating. The OL except for Tyron at LT (B-) was an F. We never figured out the blitz; Garrett was an F, his playcalling was near unwatchable. Once again, he showed he cannot get his players to play their best football when it's the most important game of the season. Our MLB allowed runs up the middle all damn game: F. Miles Austin caught not one pass and was injured again: F. Even DeMarcus Ware was an F, with only one tackle and one QB hit. Our kicker went 27-27 in kicks 50 yards or less, he was an A. Old reliable TE Jason Witten was an A. Our punt returner was great. I predicted 8-8 before the season started, and truthfully with all the injuries, we didn't do so bad to get the eight wins, and were in a position to make the playoffs with 3:30 left in the season. Trying not to swear.
Giving a handshake to my much hated redskins was just me trying to be classy after a horrible loss.

I think Jerry has it in his thick scull that Tony is a "franchise QB"...I'd be happy with a "real QB" myself

Agreed agreed agreed. Didn't even need their best game, and please fire the GM (how the hell can you fire Tom Landry so ungraciously?). Guess I'm a seahawks fan next week. Dammit. Oh well, at least we can watch the Stars, wait, dammit. Well, there's the Rangers, wait dammit. Bad year for Dallas fans.

That'd be tough to take roth. I'd much rather have a bad team that tries hard, than a talented group of prima donnas. We've had our share of the latter in Dallas. I never gained more respect for Emmitt Smith than when he finished the game with a separated shoulder. As a running back. That's going to get tackled every play. In a year when we weren't going anywhere anyway.

We've still got that one guy who'll play with a broke jaw, or a blowed out spleen...still play his a** off

Chris is referring to our old reliable TE, who played the week after breaking his jaw with his face wired shut. Another class act. Never got caught transporting 200lbs of weed across state lines, or found in a bar with two coked up hookers, either. A buddy of mine saw Michael Irvin in a bar in Austin, the week after he got caught being unfaithful to his wife, in a bright red suit with two hookers. I also love the class acts, which is why I want our GM fired.

Wow simnettpratt, this isn't first time you posted like this is it :D
JK - I have the right to make fun of any football fan being a lifetime Bengals fan myself.

I'm not a Romo fan but I'll give him credit where due. Yes, he lost that game. I hate him for it just as much as the next Cowboys fan. However, any QB in the NFL would struggle with a line that can't block and getting knocked on his ass 20+ times per game. As a former lineman in my football days, the sloppy work those guys do just drives me insane.

Mike I agree he has moments, his line sucks, but from my days as a linebacker..he needs to learn how to get his ass out of the pocket. IMO his moments of glory, are mostly accidental

RAVENS!! CAW CAW!!
Yes, I am aware that the Ravens Quarterback is an overpaid and overhyped sissy. And yes, I know that the once mighty defense isn't the defense it used to be; getting older sucks. But they're still my team, damn it.

Love all you football fans here. Browns fans kick ass. I had some clients from Cleveland, right after the team left for Baltimore. The first thing you saw at the airport was a countdown to the next Browns game, a preseason against the Cowboys. We brought up the trade and they got actually mad; not kidding. Browns fans kick ass.

I was routing for the Browns when they picked Colt from Texas. Too bad he didn't have more success. Guy is really talented and I miss watching him play here in Austin.
