Honestly no. Personally think it just sounds horrible. Never been a big fan of smoke in my nose. Cigarette, pipe, cigar or any other?Have you considered “retrohaling”?

Well, isn't retrohaling how you taste the tobacco?Honestly no. Personally think it just sounds horrible. Never been a big fan of smoke in my nose. Cigarette, pipe, cigar or any other?
Average temperatures and humidity in Colorado year round, are almost exactly the same as here in London.
I never gets any moisture in my pipes at all. None, not in the bottom of the bowl, not in the shank, not in the stem. Zilch.
You might be surprised to see how moist the tobacco is that I load up with, and how firm I tamp it down.
I think you must be pulling on the pipe instead of just breathing through the nose and letting the smoke come out of the mouth.
Smoking a pipe is easy, so easy. Don't try so hard, don't clamp the lips tight on the stem, leave a gap.
The harder you try when it comes to smoking a pipe the less you'll succeed.
Take it easy. Don't draw on the pipe, really, just don't.

Often smoke in the morning leaning out of a wide open window of my third floor flat, and gets pretty windy too. Enough to blow down the fences and set off car alarms.Good for you?
Are you smoking outside in heavy winds and cold mountain mornings? A pipe is easy and enjoyable when sitting in a warm house or a porch protected from the elements but like almost everything else a degree of extra difficulty is added when mother nature gets involved.
Working the hops farm is pretty enjoyable. You'd be surprised the age of most those I work with 61 and 72 and grand dad was 85 before his hearing got to bad to handle being the farms primary driver and that's only because the driver will be in a truck attached to a tower with guys 20+ feet off the ground that he had to be able to communicate with to be safe.Often smoke in the morning leaning out of a wide open window of my third floor flat, and gets pretty windy too. Fresh air and a pipe is very enjoyable.
When you first joined the forum and I read your introductory post, I thought how great it would be to work out in the hop fields. Envious I can tell you.
I spent most of my working life outdoors and loved it, but these days I'm a retired old codger.
Thanks for the blend recommendation. I'll check it out next time I'm on that side of the state.Welcome fellow Colorado champ! I'm a huge aromatic fan and I find if the tobacco is delicious, it'll get "juicy". It comes from your drooling down the stem. Your mouth is producing saliva in the same way a trumpet player needs a spit-valve. This drooling you don't realize you're doing may be causing what's known as pipe-gurgle. I'm guilty of this once in a great while. I have a new bent-apple Savinelli that curves and makes the smoke ultra-delicious.. and I unknowingly drool.
A Peterson House Pipe or Pub Pipe will solve this a bit, no matter how savory that smoke is.
A churchwarden will cool the smoke and you'll have a longer passage for the volume of moisture you produce, but is not the best solution, though it makes pipe-bite almost eliminated.
I recommend you are mindful of your pipe inhalation / exhalation and not be too wet-mouthed if you can accomplish it, or be aware of this. New smokers will salivate as well unknowingly. Try not to drool down your stem. This can be done by sipping lightly and with consciousness until you get the hang of it.
Good luck! I recommend Stag Tobacconists' Snowcap blend in Colorado Springs.
This works best with a straight or slightly bent pipe. If you slobber (as I do ) keep your tongue off the end of the bit, that will help reduce your contribution to the gurgle. That's a good one... +1
Also a few years ago a member, who is no longer here, suggested to someone, to put your thumb over the bowl, and swing your arm out in a whipping motion. This slings the moisture out the stem. It works.
