jpberg, I am not sure I understand what you are saying. A flake smoked poorly in any pipe is a flake smoked poorly. In my experience with fold and stuff a smaller pipe works better for me because I don't care to smoke the same blend for 2 plus hours. I have also found that the times I did try a fold and stuff in a really large pipe, I didn't get it right for some reason or another. I have had better luck in getting the pipe to smoke properly in smaller bowls, why that is I really don't know, just my experience with it.
