There are quite a number of groups of people smoking pipes in Malaysia. Chinese have their own community, Malay have their own community. Almost every state have their own pipe club, and I think they meet quite regularly. But I never met them. Malaysia even have pipe maker. I only met with one before, whom I passed my corn cob pipe and stem for him to modify. Learnt quite a number of thing from him. I think I "get around" cyberly with pipers here more than pipers in Malaysia in real life ?

Pipes' price here are standard, what you see from web sites, after converted, it's the price here. But some shops here sell even more expensive than online, and they have limited design. Tobacco is cheap. 100 grams is around RM 100, some are cheaper, depend on brand. But expensive tobacco like Davidoff, is around RM 400 to RM 500 per 50 grams. Other brand like Cornell & Diehl, GLP, Rattray's are quite standard at RM 50 to RM 60 per 50 grams.

How's it in Singapore? I don't remember I saw any pipe shop there, maybe gotta know which area to go, and which shop to go, then only can find. But the time I went there, I haven't started smoking pipe yet, maybe didn't pay attention.
There are about 3 - 4 shops in Singapore I can think off. Maybe more off the grid which I am unaware ?

Wow, Davidoff is the same price as C&D, GLP, Rattray's in the US. What other tobacco brands have elevated prices like that in Malaysia?
Why is it so expensive here ? There are other brands also expensive, but I forgot their name. I remember Davidoff the most coz last time I smoked Davidoff cigarette ?
