I picked up a pack of 4 of those jars as well as a canning funnel for ease of emptying tobacco into it. I figued the wife wouldn't admire my idea of continuing to use her canning funnel. LOL. Might come in handy.

My wife just informed me that I can't use her canning funnel. Perhaps I need to buy one for myself.

We, Rhonda and I, went to Walmart and picked up some more half-pint jars and a jar loader...

She had a neat idea.

Rhonda's idea of affixing the tobacco labels to the lowrider half-pint jars. showing top.

The labels are laid over the lid... and pressed to where they show best.

then you remove them and add double sided tape.

Re-position the label.. press and smooth....

Apply the ring.

Done.

Simple.

Rhonda's idea came from her scrapbooking hobby ==== Sometimes us fellas need to pay attention.

I buy a lot of my tobaccos in bulk, so like Wolfscout, I make labels that fit on the lids.

This really helps with identification because I use the Mason jar box for storage

and I don't have to lift all the jars to read the contents.

I have some bulk tobacco ordered to try and make do till my GYO becomes ready. I like the mason jars for use and label with their labels when possible. I also like your idea of putting dates on the labels. will have to add that to mine too.

Cortezattic,...Those are incredible labels! What a great idea!
I've been using Microsoft Word to make a strip label for the lid and one for the side of the jar,....but no where near as nice as those you're making.
Bravo!

Cortezattic: what are you using to make those labels? Is there a template or are they commercial labels?
