I'd just put a little CA in the crack and smoke the pipe...
I will do that if the crack expands.
But it seems to smoke well as is. At least there is no indication of smoke escaping from the crack.

PS I'm really a dud with repair chores.
The handle of my favourite umbrella came loose.
Easy fix with a bit of CA. Or so I thought.
Got caught in the rain on the weekend because the CA had glued up the release mechanism of the umbrella and I couldn't get it to open :rolleyes: rotf

Good to know I'm not the only one who does stuff like that. I tend to use CA gel and kicker to avoid just those situations... Now if I can just figure out how to get my fingers unstuck...
