Yeah, I really like Haddo's but it is one that separates the men from the p***ies. Particularly when they have been aged ten years or more. I'm smoking a tin right now that is from 2001.

I'm drawn back into haddos after it's improved so much with some air time. This tin is 10 years old.

It’s ok, I hate lots of stuff that many here love. Stand your ground! I hate Petersons and anything Sutliff! And I defy someone to make me like that shit.
Is it just the name or anything they manufacture?
Just don’t like their offerings. Even the non-aros have their proprietorial taste to it, IMO. 1849 could have been good, as it was their first real tobacco product, but it just didntring my bell, even if someone else made it for them. I know they make aromatics for other companies. They do good at aros, for those that like them. And, they press flakes for other companies, but that doesn’t make me want to buy their name brands.

Yep. Terrible .I couldn't finish the tin. Most pease blends suck. The only one I stock is Union Square. U.S. ages fairly well.
Their aromatics and other stuff by them I don’t like. And, they tin their stuff. Doesn’t make me want to buy Sutliff. We’ve been through this.
Not asking you to justify, just curious if it was the name alone, or everything they make.
I will smoke an aromatic occasionally, but I’m really picky.
I really like their Elizabethan Match and Virginia Slices.
Elizabethan Match is my now all time favorite and I owe it to you for bringing it my attention a few months back. I started off with a 1oz sample and now have 5lbs.
When you do, buy a 16oz tin. It tastes better that way, in my opinion. Maybe it's the extra volume, I don't know.
If it still tastes like crap to you, I'll pay for the shipping to cover your loss.
