Yeah, I really like Haddo's but it is one that separates the men from the p***ies. Particularly when they have been aged ten years or more. I'm smoking a tin right now that is from 2001.
My wife says it smells like rotting food.Love Haddo's Delight. It was rather strange experience with the tin note. Smells like horse shit. But, I got over that. Smoke is divine.
BAD FIG NEWTON ?A little while ago I popped a bulging tin of Haddo's in the kitchen while my wife and son were standing there. My son described the aroma as "bad Fig Newton".
I'm smoking it at this moment. Fruity and spicy and fantastic.
It’s ok, I hate lots of stuff that many here love. Stand your ground! I hate Petersons and anything Sutliff! And I defy someone to make me like that shit. You guys really like it . Maybe I’ll give it another try. Maybe it’s doesn’t go well with budlight and tequila.
Is it just the name or anything they manufacture?Sutliff
Just don’t like their offerings. Even the non-aros have their proprietorial taste to it, IMO. 1849 could have been good, as it was their first real tobacco product, but it just didntring my bell, even if someone else made it for them. I know they make aromatics for other companies. They do good at aros, for those that like them. And, they press flakes for other companies, but that doesn’t make me want to buy their name brands. Is it just the name or anything they manufacture?
Yup, and they also manufacture the Hearth & Home blends for P&C.Just don’t like their offerings. Nope, other people can like them all they want.
People can like what they want, and people can dislike what they want, right?
Their aromatics and other stuff by them I don’t like. And, they tin their stuff. Doesn’t make me want to buy Sutliff. We’ve been through this.Yup, and they also manufacture the Hearth & Home blends for P&C.
Not asking you to justify, just curious if it was the name alone, or everything they make.Their aromatics and other stuff by them I don’t like. And, they tin their stuff. Doesn’t make me want to buy Sutliff. We’ve been through this.
I will smoke an aromatic occasionally, but I’m really picky. Not asking you to justify, just curious if it was the name alone, or everything they make.
I really like their Elizabethan Match and Virginia Slices.I will smoke an aromatic occasionally, but I’m really picky.
Elizabethan Match is my now all time favorite and I owe it to you for bringing it my attention a few months back. I started off with a 1oz sample and now have 5lbs.I really like their Elizabethan Match and Virginia Slices.
When you do, buy a 16oz tin. It tastes better that way, in my opinion. Maybe it's the extra volume, I don't know.Maybe I’ll give it another try
One man's ass crack is another man's plummy goodness!
