Had a great Mail Box day!!

Today I received some bulk tobacco from P&C. First was Scotty"s Butternut Burley. The second was Newminster Blackberry Brandy - which I could smell through the box!! Both smell amazing and I cant wait to try both of those!
Also, today I received a rather large sample from guitarguy86 of Hearth & Home Ambassador's Blend. Thank you again for offering to send it and sending it! I have to say, this will be my first attempt at smoking an english blend and the bag aroma is a little scary!
I hope to try it tomorrow or definitely this weekend. Ill let you know how things go!

So, I just tried my first bowl of the sample that was gifted to me of H&H Ambassadors blend. This is also my first English. WoW! It was like sensory overload. I loved it! I cant wait for the next bowl! Now to research what and where to go next in the "english" world!

Blackberry Brandy an excellent baccy. It is by far my favorite Aro.

I enjoy English too on teh med to full side - will hav to try Ambassador - hav tried McC samovar - its pretty good - syrian lat, i believe. The dunhill 965 is also v good, IMO.

Try the Newminster and the Scotty's and then try mixing them about 1:1 it's a great combo! Actually I've mixed Newminster ultimate English with butternut burley and most recently cigar leaf from a Romeo y Julieta my friend gave me.

The tin aroma of an English can be really offputting unless you enjoy earthy, dark, leathery, and woodsy scents - and I do! Some of them have quite a bit of barnyard character... As for the smoke of an English, that is a great experience that everyone who calls themself a pipesmoker should try at least once or they are missing out...

Does the blackberry brandy, just smell like it or can you actually taste it? I find that most aeros I try they smell amazing but they don't taste like anything in perticular?

I saw some Blackberry Brandy at my B&M the other day. Smells wonderful. I stuck with 1Q, kind of wishing I had picked up an oz to try now. That smell has a way of haunting a person's mind. Probably the pipe too, but that's fine!
Let us know more about it when you get a chance for a bowl! My curiousity demands it.
