I just wish Lawrence was still here.
"needs just a pinch of Perique."
And of course my digestive track still hates him for getting me hooked on those hot peppers.

I did talk to Lawrence about a year ago, he's had a slew of health issues, and quit smoking when he quit the forum.

Good to see you back hobie! Sorry to hear about your health issues. We've had our fair share of them in the last couple of years. The wife got diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth disease a couple of years ago, super rare form of muscular dystrophy that is the result of the FIG 4 gene mutation. As a result, her entire right side aches all the time. As for me, I was told by my doctor I had to drop some weight if I wanted to live to see 40, and in the process dropped 180 pounds, but doing so resulted in the loss of some muscle mass and combined with my bad knees and legs, I ache pretty much all the time now. But I suppose living with some aches and pains is better than having a heart attack or stroke, so I'll take what I can get. Anyways, welcome back!

Pipe Novelist- Great to hear from you, being one of my former Comrades on here.

Glad to hear you have lost so much weight. I am still trying to get the official diagnosis from my new Neurologist but everything I have found so far on my PMP-22 gene positive test , points to CMT disease . I have read that there are 6-7 different types of CMT disease.
Thanks for responding back.
