H&H Egg Nog Musty Jar Smell?

Hey gang, need some help. I had an issue with some H&H Egg Nog and a rusted tin. So I jarred the tobacco and it has been sitting a week or so. Now when I open it it smells almost musty. The thing is that I do not know what it is suppose to smell like, maybe this is normal? It was going to be my first time trying it. It has a musty Cocoa smell.
any help from people who have some?

I'm not sure about this.

You might look carefully at the tobacco and see if it has any mold on it.
This is basically a bump so the other Members see it.

They could probably answer your question better than I can.

I am not sure how moist that blend is or if there is any kind of casing on that blend that can mold, but I would consider airing it out before you jar it.
