My kids are rather "boy scouts". My fault. Yes, they were in boy scout, and all the good we lectured at them, they actually believe.

This event over the weekend involved picking people to form a team. People sent in their qualifications. After he met his team and working on a project, he said "the qualifications sent in weren't true".

Told him "it's called marketing". Really wanted to say "they are shitting out of their mouth", "they talk with two tongues", "on the job training".. "Everyone lies."

He should know this already. I should tell him "trust, but verify".

Naivety is terrible thing to lose but everybody lies in one form or the other. I don't how many parents have told administrators "My son/daughter wouldn't lie to me". Hell, they lie to parents just for sport.
