Not sure if it's the season, the heat, the rain, or the influx of new members but the forums are seeming a bit more snippy as of late. I understand that some topics are getting rehashed and some are touchy for some member, but let's remember why we're all here...... A mutual enjoyment of pipe smoking. We are all here for the same reason and we can gain a lot of info and enjoyment out of the sharing of info. I understand sometimes nerves get touched but let's just try to over look small slights and focus on the big picture........ Pipes and tobacco

Haha the snippiness is on The Dying Art of Manliness thread. The pt II thread is my attempt at pacifying everything with something a bit tamer. It failed wonderfully. Almost like no one even read the article in the link. I was pretty sad. I need a group hug.

You see some very interesting interactions, on various social and personal levels when your just watching, and not a participant in the conversation. Snippiness is the drama of a forum I suppose, and I'd just as soon watch than participate. And of who doesn't enjoy the GIFs and funnies?
Of course I understand why these threads are closed and I agree. I joined this forum to be a part of a pipe smoking brotherhood. Which is why I usually stay away from the "General Discussion" area of the forum. I mean the Title itself opens the door.. just sayin
