Welcome from VirginiaHi everyone!
I just discovered this forum and decided to join right away! I'm Patrick (M41), a new tobacco pipe smoker, from the province of Québec, Canada. My first smoke was right on the National Pipe Smoking Day (IPSD), last week (February 20, 2021). Yesterday was my second session, and I liked it at lot. I do need more practice (I need to learn when the tobacco need to dry more, because I have to relight too often) but I'm really enjoying the hobby. I currently own 6 pipes (4 regular pipes, 1 churchwarden, 1 corn cob pipe), and already added new ones in my wish list! Pipe tobacco is harder to find in my area, so I only have a OTC tobacco, which is Sail Authentic (Sail Natural), but next week, I'll go shop in a bigger town to get something else. I'm here to learn techniques and discover anything related to the hobby!
It does smell pretty good, indeed. Very subtle!Sail is one of the best-smelling codger blends. Welcome from NYC.
