If you happen to be near Western Puget Sound, check out the Cargo Hold the next time you're near Poulsbo. Not the largest brick and mortar I've seen, but one of the better ones in terms of focus on pipes vs cigars, selection, and knowledgeable owner. Good stuff.

I can't leave the Cargo Hold without a new pipe. Doug just knows how to butter me up I guess.

I recently got into pipe smoking, so far all I've smoked is Sir Walter Raleigh and Lane 1Q and I have an MM Country Gentleman and a Bruken estate. I've been smoking cigars off and on for several years, I got back into it seriously last year and this year I decided to diversify into pipes. Pipe smoking is something that's intrigued me ever since I saw it in movies as a kid, and discovering guys like Muttnchop and Bremen Piper on YouTube made me realize it's still a viable pastime so I decided to dive into it.

So far I'm really enjoying it and am looking forward to getting deeper into it!

I'm actually in Mason County, past Shelton. I just put Olympia since that's the closest city non Washingtonians will recognize, I do go to Olympia regularly and Cigar Daddies and my go shop. I am aware of the SPC, but for me it would be a considerably longer distance and I don't drive (I rely on the bus and such). Nice seeing some other local members!

Exactly. It's so frustering because I live between SPC and the Kitsap Pipe Club but and too far for either.

Like I said I haven't actually bought from the Cargo Hold but I've been there several times and have interacted with Doug, he's very pleasant. I know Northwest Pipe Smoker is also a member of KPC and a regular customer at Cargo Hold, he's one of my favorite YTPC people.
