Welcome from Montreal, Canada! Yeah - Balkan/English blends can be a good place to start. You might like Presbyterian if you want to try another one, or Squadron Leader. But if you want to expand your taste palette, maybe a VAper or Straight Virginia could be something you might want to try. A learning experience for the new piper as well, since you have to keep your cadence down to not smoke it too hot. Maybe some Escudo, Orlik Golden Sliced, Capstan Blue, Mac Baren HH Virginia Flake, or even Solani Virginia Flake with Perique - which I saw a lot when I was in Italy.
