Welcome aboard from central North Carolina. I spent some time in San Diego and Long Beach over the course of a hitch in the Navy, and really enjoyed the area. I didn't so much enjoy waiting in long ranks of recruits waiting for breakfast in the misty pre-dawn of a California October, but that's boot camp. Later, I took in a Leon Russell concert, and later the Moody Blues, in the heyday of those musicians.

Also, there are a couple of pipe clubs in Los Angeles County. I am part of the Point Vicente Pipe Club. It serves more of the South Bay/OC people.

Hello and happy new year! New pipe smoker here from Pasadena, CA, just outside Los Angeles. Jumped into the hobby around this time last year and haven’t looked back. I’m still learning my preferences, but have been gravitating toward va/pers and burley blends. I also enjoy certain aromatics from time to time (e.g., Bob’s Chocolate Flake, Plumcake).
