I joined this forum in 2013, but never posted a greetings and have been primarily a lurker.

After a bit of rough start back in 2013 learning to smoke a pipe, taking bad advice and trying nearly every type of blend, I discovered that I love OTC burley blends...especially Carter Hall and Prince Albert. I guess it makes sense. I enjoy a nice smooth lager over any other type of beer 90% of the time.

I took a bit of a hiatus from the briar since 2019 and just went to pickup some PA and discovered that it had been gone and is now back foreign produced! I hope it still tastes and smokes as great as ever.

I cannot vouch for the new production of P.A., but my experience with other re-issues picked-up by a new producer is that they are usually not quite the same.

Welcome aboard from central N.C. I love the Mendocino area with the onshore wind and the wine.
