I’ve started this hobby a couple of months ago and I feel that I’ve barely scratched the surface of a world of discovery and enjoyment. Welcome aboard, gizreel. I took the opportunity to visit Montreal the first time for my sixtieth birthday, enjoying the food, the fabulous art museum, a rock defying boat ride on the St. Lawrence past the old World's Fair, and kicking around various tourist sites. Just a beautiful city. When I attempted to "bonjour" wait people and store clerks, sensing my distress, they categorically spoke English. None of my horrible French for them. (Despite my years of struggle.) It was September, but the city is haunted by winter, and so beautiful.
