I won't say too much about it but I've read a bit about that area and it's one of those places most people don't know exist in America. More wild than people think there could be in modern America.
I have found the same. I used to go when they catered to pipe folks more, but they have changed.
Does look a bit on the dreary side. Reminds me of Maine winters on the ocean.
Thanks for the welcome. Mayport has not changed much, but many are trying to. The locals are resisting, and I am hoping they hold on.
It was a strange one in the northern latitudes in many places. Summer in Maine and eastern Canada were wet and cool and then everything warmed in late August when it usually cools. Very odd.
