nothing against it just so busy
wouldn't stay as pretty if everyone went there.Yep, most folks only know the coast, and most never venture into the border with Canada and NH. We actually like it that way. Keeps life slow and easy.
Thank you! What part of London? We stop to visit friends a couple of times yearly on our way to our holiday home near Carcassonne, France.Hello and welcome from London
Thank you! This is a great forum that doesn't move too fast, or painfully slow like some others. We have a pretty good mix of guys on here too. Enjoy your time here.
precisely!wouldn't stay as pretty if everyone went there.
I live in Battersea, quite close to Battersea Park, where I spend a lot of time when the weather is good.Thank you! What part of London? We stop to visit friends a couple of times yearly on our way to our holiday home near Carcassonne, France.
No. I am thoroughly unimpressed with them in many regards and they are mainly a cigar shop.Another from J-ville. Go to Tobacco Cove much?
I won't say too much about it but I've read a bit about that area and it's one of those places most people don't know exist in America. More wild than people think there could be in modern America.precisely!
I have found the same. I used to go when they catered to pipe folks more, but they have changed.No. I am thoroughly unimpressed with them in many regards and they are mainly a cigar shop.
Does look a bit on the dreary side. Reminds me of Maine winters on the ocean.Be welcome sir , and best greets to FL from Finland-EU

Thanks for the welcome. Mayport has not changed much, but many are trying to. The locals are resisting, and I am hoping they hold on.Welcome aboard from Virginia.Spent 7 years in Mayport during my navy service.
It was a strange one in the northern latitudes in many places. Summer in Maine and eastern Canada were wet and cool and then everything warmed in late August when it usually cools. Very odd.I live in Battersea, quite close to Battersea Park, where I spend a lot of time when the weather is good.
so not very often this past year. I can't remember a worse summer.
