Hi, My name is Glenn. I'm From Greer SC. I'm new to pipe smoking. I'm not a rich man, so I guess I'm here trying to find good budget aromatics.
not sure about you budget but I find the cheapest way to go is buying in bulk. One of my favorite aromatics is available in bulk. Cornell and Diehl "Founding Fathers" it's pomegranate and it works better then I thought it would. There are others (not much of an aromatic smoker, some of my favs are aromatics but just a few). That be my suggestion for affordable good smoking aromatics (or any tobacco).

Hey from central North Carolina. Lane Limited and Sutliff both have good bulk aromatics at excellent prices, sometimes on sale besides. I like Lane Limited HGL,for example. Also, Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic is a good one and comes in a pouch or tub.

The town Greer caught my ear. In the mid-1970's I worked with what was then the Veterans Administration for a few years with an older vet, a Colonel Greer, retired from the Army. I wonder if his family was the namesake of your town back in the family history. We got along especially well, and the VA sent me to assist his wife on behalf of the agency when he died. Before he died, I visited him in the hospital and he gave me precise instructions on how to plant azaleas in N.C.

Welcome aboard.

Welcome from the ATL! We are heading up your way in a few weeks to camp around Lake Keowee for the meteor shower.

Some very tasty and inexpensive aromatics:
Gawith Hoggarth American Delite
PS23 B&B (burley and black cavendish)
PS24 Nougat
Lane BCA (straight up black cavendish)
Sutliff Creme Brûlée

Very interesting. I had to Google it, but Greer is named after James Manning Greer, and probably somehow related to the late Col Greer.
