@bcharles- My use of "awesome" was strictly coincidental. I was not singling out your post at all! Just a general comment on us as a group, who, by all good rights, should be educated and aware of the dangers in our pursuit. In other words, we should all know what we're getting into, and can't cry foul due to ignorance.

We're more likely to get cancers from industrial toxins and diesel exhaust. White tea is just green tea with less curing/drying time. However, "green tea" is a brand that has been associated with health for over thirty years, which may be more marketing ("9 out of 10 doctors smoke Camels" advanced by two generations) than reality.
Either way, the stuff is delicious.

Plus anything more than 4 cups is not recommended for your stomach.

I guess the Japanese didn't get the memo on this. They drink about 10 cups per day.

There is a lot of solid research showing the benefits of Green Tea in a lot of medical journals.
The key is to make sure you are consuming at least 200mg of EGCG.
