I've spent the past several days trying to figure out what my favorite quote of all time is. I have volumes of great quotes, as mentioned earlier. Many are profound. And long. I think, however, that the best are the most succinct, where the most insight into the human condition is crammed into the fewest words.
Just can't narrow it down to one. Therefore I present two:

I have seen quotes, and people's attitudes which reflect the quote, but I think that there are more possibilities.

To wit:

Some people can look at a situation and make good choices.

Some people can watch others mess up and learn from their errors.

But, there are always some who can only learn by going ahead and peeing on the electric fence.
