Our frozen inversion a month ago

Antelope Valley Poppy Preserve, April 2019. About half an hour east of my house. Blooms like this only happen here in California when the winter precipitation is above normal. This year's precip. has been right at normal (contrary to the media and their drought propaganda), but not above. Been colder than normal too, which inhibits this kind of scene. We'll see what happens...you never know!
