Here's Foreigner, and I'm telling you right now, if these guys seemed wimpy to you, check this out - they are hitting it HARD here.
Yep, and while doing so, they talked a lot of people back from having a heart of stone.
Okay so this is what I meant by "great" - one of the best live things ever - U2 at Live Aid
That video is hard to watch, for the sad aspect of what was going on. U2 never disappoints, though.
I haven't been to many concerts ... very few actually ... but this one looks like it would have been a BLAST.

@CajunGuy: I love Zappa and that song is just absolutely hilarious ! I know the lyrics by heart and my wife always slaps me when I start singing it

Thanks for posting that one !
@Baron: Love Maiden... been to a couple of their shows in my younger days. Good stuff. I also noticed you had a Di'Anno and a Dickinson version there... cool for comparison. For grins and giggles a comparison of one of my favorite Maiden songs.
A recent live performance:

And for comparison and since I went to the 1982 Maiden tour called "Beast on the Road", the same song from that era. You can tell Bruce Dickinson's voice was still at the height of its power back then. In the more recent live concerts like the one above you can tell he's not quite the youngster anymore he once was. But neither is any of us ;-) So here you go, same song but a live performance of 30 years ago.. darn we're getting old :puffpipe:

And for giggles from the same tour "Hallowed by thy Name"..

Do we need to add "Fear of the Dark" to the mix ?

Oh.. and let me add one of the same genre and vein
Michael Schenker, the younger brother of Rudolf Schenker of Scorpions fame. Michael himself was the lead guitar player for the little band called UFO and proceeded afterwards with his own band MSG (Michael Schenker Group). Of which this is a live recording in 1981. All this stuff makes me feel old.....

Yes. And Dickinson has to wear a hat to keep his noggin warm now! They are still one of the greatest metal bands who ever lived.
